Posting a video from YouTube
If you've got your own videos on your computer that you want to share on your blog, Blogger now allows you to upload videos directly!
If you'd like to share a video from YouTube, you can do that, too.

Embedding a YouTube Video

To embed a video from YouTube, just follow these simple steps:
1.Click on the "Share" button underneath the YouTube video.
2.Select "Show more," and then click on the Blogger icon.
3.Depending on whether or not you're signed in to your blog, you might have to enter in your username and password in the new window that pops up.
4.At the top of the new window, choose the blog you would like to post to from the drop-down menu.
5.Publish your post!

Alternatively, you can copy the embed code and paste it into your blog.
Just click on "Share" and then on "Embed" to find the embed code.
Copy the code, then paste it into your blog while on the "Edit HTML" tab (as opposed to the "Compose" tab).

Team blogs are quite useful when small groups of people wish to contribute to a single blog.
Basically, one person initially creates the blog, then adds other people to it as members.

Team members can either be administrators or not.
Administrators can edit all posts (not just their own), add and remove team members (and grant admin access), and modify the blog's settings and template.
Non-admins can only create and edit their own posts.

Here's how to add members to your blog:
 First, find the "Permissions" section under Settings | Basic.

Then click Add Authors:

Next, type the email addresses of the people you're inviting to the blog, separating each address with a comma.
They'll receive an email with a confirmation link soon.
Note that they must have Google Accounts, and if they don't already, they'll be prompted to create one.

You can do those things and more with Blogger’s new Following feature.
By following your blog, your readers tell you and the world that they’re a fan of what you post.
Your Dashboard now shows you how many followers each of your blogs has.
With a click on the Followers icon, you can browse your followers, see what blogs they write, and read the other blogs they’re following.

Now that you know who your Followers are, you can show them off by adding the Followers gadget to your blog’s sidebar.
From the “Layout | Page Elements” tab, click “Add a Gadget” and select “Followers” from the gadgets list.
The Followers gadget shows the profile pictures of your followers and gives your readers a “Follow This Blog” link to join up, too.

Blogger のパーマリンク (各エントリーの URL) は、Blogger が自動的に決定する。このたび、このパーマリンクをユーザー自身が決められる様になった。

カスタムパーマリンク機能の注意点

1. パーマリンクのカスタマイズは Blogger ではなく、Blogger in Draft から。
2. URL で使えるのは半角英数とハイフン - とドット（ピリオド） . 。
3. ハイフンやドットは、ファイル名の先頭でも末尾でも使える。連続もＯＫ。
4. 大文字と小文字は区別される。（ABC と abc は別）
5. 文字数制限なし。長すぎても公開はできる。アクセスすると 414 エラーが出る場合も。100 文字は OK、3000 文字は無理でした。（テスト）
6. URL が指定できるのは、新規投稿時のみ。公開済み投稿の URL は変更できない。

確認修正後、公開します。

下書き保存の試行

記事を作成途中で下書きに保存しておくと、後で編集して投稿することができます。

作成したら、　保存　ボタンを押します。

閉じる　ボタンで、　一覧表示画面に戻ります。
