conjugate
This week's newsletter includes a challenging test. First, match all twelve tenses to example sentences. Next, conjugate sentences in all twelve tenses. It's challenging, but understanding correct conjugation will greatly improve your communication skills. There's also a look at when to leave words out when speaking in English, as well as the difference between contractions and reductions. -------------------------------------- Sentence is defined as a statement or question made with group of words including a subject, verb and object. An example of sentence is a group of words in a book that begins with a capital letter and ends with a punctuation mark. The definition of conjugate is two or more things joined together. An example of conjugate is a relationship when the people are married. Conjugate means to join or unite two or more things or people together or to give different forms to a word to reflect a different person, voice or number. An example of conjugate is an official declaring two people married.
An example of conjugate is to show different forms of the word "be" such as was, were, being and been.
