be full of beans

To be 'full of beans' means to have lots of energy and have a feeling of well-being.

I've been feeling full of beans lately. It must be down to the healthier diet I'm on.

How can you be so full of beans this early in the morning?

be full of beans
to have a lot of energy and enthusiasm

I've never met anyone so full of beans before breakfast.

If someone is full of beans, then what they are saying is nonsense. It is used in polite conversation when you don't want to say 'full of shit'

full of shit
